Bridge Road was founded in 2012 to provide development services to exceptional music artists. Throughout his career of recording and producing music, founder David Bourgeois had perceived that the very best artists often lacked the resources and industry knowledge to move their careers forward in a meaningful way.
The initial goal of our company was to develop an artist’s music, brand, and public awareness in hope of creating an attractive opportunity for conventional record labels. We quickly learned, however, that even when given the opportunity to build a career with guidance and financial support, most artists still did not have the work ethic, perseverance, or self-confidence to follow through.
Though this learning process was enormously costly, it was immediately outweighed by the benefit we gained in better understanding the mechanics of successful artist acquisition. A&R for us progressed from a knee-jerk jump into working with an artist we “liked” to a deeper process of vetting the artist to ensure that, in addition to musicality and commercial viability, any artist we considered possessed goals that were in synch with our own.
Today, we represent three artists with exceptional potential. Because of the success of one of our artists, we find ourselves providing complete label services.
To effectively move our current artists forward, we are now seeking a tremendous ally in physical and digital distribution. Developing this relationship would also allow us to bring additional artists onto our roster without facing our current distribution roadblock.
Bridge Road Entertainment is built as a complementary business to White lake Music & Post, our recording and production studios. By piggybacking the growing label off of our studios, we are able to leverage human resources that extend far beyond the capability of traditional labels our size. For perspective, we have four full-time audio engineers on staff, a full-time animator and motion graphics professional, a full-time artist and designer, a voice coach, two social media marketing professionals, and a business team with expansive knowledge of accounting and business management.
In addition to our in-house team, we have several relationships with dedicated outside service providers who bring years of expertise and contemporary industry acumen to our team.
Our outside team currently includes:
Our 500 sq. ft studios, located north of New York City in Albany, New York, include four audio studios and a video editing suite, along with offices for our team. Our main rooms offer world-class equipment and instruments, exceptional acoustics, and a tremendous blend of state-of-the-art and vintage recording tools.
In addition to our label, clients include Netflix, Discovery, Nickelodeon, HGTV, Universal, Disney, Nintendo, WE Network, and numerous others.
We currently represent three artists.
Contemporary country artist Vinny Michaels is in the first year of a development and recording agreement. Our initial goal with Vinny is to develop exceptional modern country music that bridges contemporary elements with blues and classic rock. We currently have 14 original tracks roughed and we’re making final determinations on viability on a song-by-song basis. We expect to release his debut full-length in early Spring. We’ve also worked to build his stage presence and notoriety, placing him in direct support positions for Trace Adkins, Luke Combs, Old Dominion, Eli Young Band, Big & Rich, and numerous others.
Siblings Jocelyn & Chris Arndt are in their fifth year with us. Jocelyn & Chris have recorded three full-length albums, a full-length live album, an EP, and a Holiday EP. We’ve put their last three consecutive singles into the Billboard AAA Top 40, debuted their most recent album at Number 1 on the Relix Jambands Top 30, and charted in the top 40 in both AMA and FMQB AAA. Their most recent single “Kill in the Cure” was the Number One Most Added Single in AAA Radio on our add day.
Jocelyn & Chris have appeared on NBC’s Today Show and numerous other media outlets. Their song “Shame” was featured in the video game “Rock Band,” and their recordings include guests like G. Love, Gov’t Mule’s Danny Louis, and Cory Wong of Vulfpeck. Together with their band they tour coast-to-coast and are currently in the studio recording their next full-length release. All material has been mastered by Grammy Award winners Brad Blackwood or Emily Lazar.
We are an energetic, ethical, and talent-rich organization focused on providing artists the best platform to build from. We are truly interested in developing a distribution relationship that is an ideal complement to the work our artists and team are already doing. We are also in a position to strategically grow our roster once we have a distribution relationship in place.
On behalf of our artists and team, we sincerely thank you for your time and interest!
